World Habitat’s role is to find innovative habitat solutions that protect people around the world from housing injustice, caused by threats of the climate emergency, displacement, inequality, conflict and economic instability.

We support and raise the profile of solutions and the organisations that operate them so they can scale up and move into new geographies.

We bring people and ideas together to help drive innovative ideas into mainstream housing practice.

Our work results in:

• Sustainable organisations providing safe and secure housing at scale for people in need
• An active network of housing organisations and innovators sharing skills and learning together
• Housing innovations that transfer into new geographies and contexts through changes in policy and practice

We believe that by supporting these innovations, we can create a world where the most successful housing innovations become mainstream practice providing safe secure homes for those in need.
