A housing co-operative built in 1984 consisting of 21 smaller private housing units and a large common area, accounting for 40 per cent of the total space. This common area is formed of a glass covered street and square connected to the housing units and workshops and includes a communal kitchen, dining room, living room, workshops and library. Flat sizes vary from 60 – 90 m2 with the average size being 79 m2. Seven additional public rooms are provided which residents put to a range of uses including workshops and guest rooms. The cost was met entirely by the residents and amounted to £600 per m².
