Infill housing development of 19 dwellings designed by Baxter Clark & Paul (Dundee) Ltd. Six of the houses are for wheelchair users and their families and five for households where one or more members has limited mobility. The remaining eight properties provide a mix of integrated units to form a financially viable development and good social mix. Tenant involvement in the design and adaptation of the houses. The total cost of £622,000 was met by government grant and private sector funding. Dorward Gardens provides a balance between privacy, community and integration and shows a way forward for independent living.
