In September 2010, BSHF submitted evidence to the Communities and Local Government Select Committe regarding the impact of the abolition of Regional Spatial Strategies, regional housebuilding targets, which are to be abolished under the Localism Bill.

The basis of our submission was our report Abotion of Regional Spatial Strategies: Rapid impact assessment for the Midlands and North of England.
