Tom is a structural engineer with extensive experience in humanitarian and post-disaster shelter. He led CARE International’s global shelter team for six years and served on the Strategic Advisory Group of the Global Shelter Cluster, contributing to responses in Nepal, Haiti, the Philippines, and beyond. Currently a director at Buro Happold, he leads the London Structures team. Tom is also a trustee of the Happold Foundation and formerly of Engineers Without Borders UK.
