Review of the Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessments in the East Midlands

BSHF conducted a review of the Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessments (GTAA) undertaken in the East Midlands.

This review was submitted to the public consultation on the East Midlands Spatial Strategy. It follows the ‘Niner formula’ developed to benchmark GTAAs in other English regions. The methodology and residential pitch calculations of the GTAAs have been assessed individually. Combining the results of these evaluations provides a robust estimate of residential pitch requirements in the East Midlands.
