Nahid is a Technical Urban Planner and Urban Designer working across government and in the private sector, both in the UK and internationally, on sustainable place-making.
Nahid focusses on unblocking complex development barriers through the assessment of economic programmes and capital projects, good governance and impact measurement. She has worked in many aspects of project delivery, including the development of innovative public and private Economic Investment Vehicles.
Nahid has worked in Government as a specialist and with NGOs as a volunteer and trustee, and has attended and advised on ministerial international trade missions, channeling global investments into major projects in the UK.
Currently she is Senior Urban and Senior Finance advisor for United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), focusing on innovating finance vehicles and secondary cities. Her work with governments and industry covers South Asia, Middle East, Emerging Palestine and Africa.
