Becky joined World Habitat in 2022 as HR & Facilities Officer. She specialises in HR coordination, recruitment, and organisational support across programmes including housing, homelessness, and climate impact. With a background in events and hospitality, she also monitors carbon emissions to support World Habitat’s carbon reduction goals and governance processes.

David has worked in housing all his life for local authorities, government, the media, and charities. He was former chair of Action Homeless and is an associate of the Centre for Comparative Housing Studies at DeMontfort University. He is a published author and has worked as a housing advisor for TV series on BBC and Channel 4. He was awarded an OBE in 2013 for services to housing.

Ella is Programme Manager (Homelessness) at World Habitat, with expertise in homelessness, grant-making and co-housing. Her background spans local government and UK charities, delivering funded programmes and shaping best practice. She holds postgraduate qualifications in international development and housing, with research experience in Sierra Leone, Sweden, and the USA.

Joanne is Director of Finance at World Habitat, with expertise in financial management, governance, HR, IT systems, and asset management. A qualified accountant since 2003, she leads budgeting, audit, risk processes, and supports strategic planning. Her background includes financial analysis in the commercial sector.

Louise is a senior leader in housing, social justice, and financial inclusion, and leads the delivery of work at World Habitat. Her role bridges grassroots organisations, funders, and policy-makers to drive systemic change in housing access and equity. With experience from founding a credit union to shaping housing policy, she also co-convenes the ACF’s Housing Network and serves as a Trustee at The Longleigh Foundation.

Outside her role at World Habitat, she volunteers to support migrants and advocates for the rights of marginalised communities.

With 25 years’ experience in the non-profit sector spanning education, health and housing, Patricia specialises in strategic and digital communications to further organisational impact, raise awareness, and engage diverse audiences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic and American Studies, a postgraduate Diploma in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Marketing, and is a fluent Spanish speaker.

Sally trained as an architect and has worked on developing housing, heritage rehabilitation, and urban regeneration projects. She holds an MSc in Urbanisation and Development from the London School of Economics, where her research focused on informal housing, forced evictions, and post-conflict urban renewal across Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt. Beyond work, she practices photography and leads walking tours that uncover the connections between cities, inequality, and social justice.

Yiorgos is an architect and urban planner specialising in community-led housing and research-driven urban development. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, social impact evaluation, and international urban co-creation projects. Yiorgos holds two masters from UCL and is Editor-in-Chief of The Urban Transcripts Journal.
