Dr. Alexandre is a principal researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) in London, co-leading its housing justice work. He focuses on empowering grassroots groups to challenge housing injustices, influence governance, and build global alliances. He is an expert affiliate of Architecture Sans Frontières-UK, serves on the board the Sierra Leone Urban Research Centre, and is a fellow of the Human Development and Capability Association.
